The cool morning air greeted us as we made our way along the river, backpacks on and our hiking boots making imprints in the trail. With TETON’s Trailhead UltraLight Sleeping Bag in tow, my pack felt lightweight and easy to carry. The compact stuff bag makes it incredibly easy to pack, and I was able to easily fit all my essentials in my backpack for our morning adventure.
With a quick one-person set up, I was boiling water for a morning chai in ten minutes time. The sleeping bag was warm and soft, but still breathable enough where I felt comfortable. It even has a great little inside pocket for things like chapstick, your phone, or a headlamp—anything you may need to easily grab in the dark. It was super handy!
I always love mummy sleeping bags, and this one has to be one of my favorites I’ve ever had. I love the soft face muffler that keeps your head warm and comfortable and the shape of the mummy bag (along with the super soft lining) makes your body instantly relax right when you zip up the full-length zipper. After a few sips of my chai, I sat by the river and, let me tell you, nothing beats the relaxing sound of water rushing over riverstone and a cozy TETON sleeping bag. It was a beautiful morning.
If you’re on the hunt for a lightweight sleeping bag that can still handle low temps, this is the one for you.
